28.06.2010: Components of Dr.Web 6.0 products for Windows updated
Doctor Web updated the SpIDer Guard file monitor and Scanning Engine service included in Dr.Web products for Windows from the 6 series. Upgrades include new scanning and curing algorithms, improve products’ stability and contain some improvements and fixes for a number of known errors.
Dr.Web solutions 6.0 for Windows will be updated automatically. The update will require a system restart.
24.06.2010: New Dr.Web CureIt! is now even more efficient
The Russian anti-virus vendor Doctor Web released a completely reworked version of its free utility Dr.Web CureIt!. The updated version features brand new algorithms for neutralization of cyber threats. Improvements incorporated into the new Dr.Web CureIt! will be implemented in all Dr.Web products in the future.
17.06.2010: Dr.Web e-mail anti-viruses 5.0 for Unix updated
Doctor Web updated Dr.Web Mail Gateway and Dr.Web for Unix mail servers 5.0 (32- and 64-bit). An error that prevented sending notifications upon detection of viruses to users has been corrected.
To apply the update users ofDr.Web for Unix mail servers and Dr.Web Mail Gateway you need to download updated distributions of corresponding products and install them.
10.06.2010: Dr.Web for Mac OS X updated
Doctor Web released an updated version of Dr.Web for Mac OS X. Issues in operation of the system for updating virus databases and components under Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and 10.5 (Leopard) have been fixed.
In order to update Dr.Web for Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5, use the updated distribution to install Dr.Web for Mac OS X.
07.06.2010: Traffic interception module in Dr.Web products for Windows updated
Doctor Web updated the module for interception of mail and HTTP traffic included in Dr.Web products from the series 6 for protection of Windows workstations. The update solves problems concerning compatibility.

03.06.2010: Dr.Web compatible with new Kerio firewall
Following the release of a new version, the title of Kerio firewall has changed from "WinRoute" to "Control". Doctor Web has tested the new version Kerio Control 7 and confirms that it is fully compatible with Dr.Web for Kerio WinRoute (32-bit and 64-bit).

20.05.2010: GUI-based scanner in Dr.Web products for Windows updated
Doctor Web announced the release of the updated GUI-based scanner incorporated in Dr.Web anti-virus solutions of 5.0 and 6.0 series for Windows. The component has undergone a number of important changes resulting in its higher stability and increased curing capability.
Dr.Web solutions for workstations and file servers, Dr.Web Enterprise Suite and the Dr.Web anti-virus service software will download and install the update automatically.
13.05.2010: Dr.Web for Mac OS X updated
Doctor Web updated its anti-virus solution for Mac OS X. The update incorporates several improvements and corrects a number of errors.
The improvements include automatic updating of a key file, a new license manager and optimized routines of SpIDer Guard.
In order to update Dr.Web for Mac OS X the update must be installed over the previous version of the product.
11.05.2010: Dr.Web products for Internet gateways, file servers and e-mail under Unix updated
Doctor Web released an update of Dr.Web products for Unix Internet gateways, Dr.Web for Unix mail servers, Dr.Web Mail Gateway and Dr.Web for Unix file servers. Now the products support 64-bit versions of Linux, FreeBSD and Solaris. The update also provides fixes of several errors found in software components.
To apply the update, you need to download updated distributions of corresponding products.
29.04.2010: Dr.Web Enterprise Suite 6.0 beta released
Doctor Web launched beta-testing of Dr.Web Enterprise Suite 6.0. The solution features the updated file monitor SpIDer Guard and two new components – firewall (which is are already available to users of Dr.Web products for protection of workstations) and a centrally-managed quarantine allowing a network administrator to view and perform actions to objects quarantined on all machines in the network from his desk. The new version also incorporates numerous bug fixes and improvements.
Now ES also allows controlling agents of Novell Netware, Windows Mobile, Mac OS X, MS Exchange and Lotus.
28.04.2010: Dr.Web CureNet! updated
Doctor Web updated its Dr.Web CureNet! utility designed to centrally cure local networks of viruses. The updated Dr.Web SelfPROtect module has been incorporated into the product that has also undergone changes making it more user-friendly. For example, a new option that comes with the update allows shutting down target workstations automatically after they have been scanned by Dr.Web CureNet!.
Errors found in the interface in different languages have been corrected.
In order to use improvements provided by the update users of Dr.Web CureNet! need to download the program’s distribution once again.
22.04.2010: New features in Dr.Web for Linux v.6.0
The Russian anti-virus vendor Doctor Web announced the release of Dr.Web anti-virus for Linux v.6.0. The updated product incorporated the Control Center, which you can use to access any components of the program and tune them up as you need it. The new version also includes some other new features, e.g. the SpIDer Guard file monitor and the scheduler.
Dr.Web anti-virus for Linux v.6.0 supports 64-bit Linux systems.
16.04.2010: Self-protection module of Dr.Web updated
Within the last few days, Doctor Web updated some of its products. In particular, the self-protection module of the products for Windows workstations (versions 5 and 6, 32- and 64-bit) and of Dr.Web AV-Desk and Dr.Web Enterprise Suite have been updated.
Furthermore, some other components of Dr.Web products for Windows workstations (version 6) have been updated.
05.04.2010: Dr.Web for Lotus Domino updated
Doctor Web released its updated plugin Dr.Web for Lotus Domino 5.00.2 for Windows. The most important changes incorporated in the new version include support of both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows server operating systems ranging from Windows 2000 to 2008 R2 as well as 64-bit versions of IBM Lotus Domino servers. The product’s performance has been improved.
