The Title to Dr.Web® technology belongs to Doctor Web. The company owns the Dr.Web® engine, has its own anti-virus laboratory and Virus Monitoring service.

Traditionally, Dr.Web anti-virus has been developed in Saint Petersburg and the Department of AV-research and development headed by Igor Daniloff is now also located there. Our development team responds on-the-fly to market requirements and continuously offers new, efficient components and applications for cyber society protection. The products line developed and supplied by Doctor Web. embraces the widest spectrum of operating systems and compatible applications.
Virus Monitoring Service
Dr.Web global monitoring network collects samples of new viruses from all over the world. Updates to Dr.Web virus database are released as soon as new entries are added – up to several times per hour.
"Hot" add-ons are released as soon as a new threat is caught and analyzed.
Technical Support service
Highly qualified staff of the Technical Support service of Doctor Web is committed to rendering prompt services to Dr.Web registered customers. The support services are given in Russian, English, French, German and Japanese languages.
Distribution department
